Hair Extension Length Guide
Choosing the right length can help your halo extensions blend more naturally with your own hair. Use this guide as a visual reference before selecting your preferred length.
How We Measure Hair Length
Our halo hair extensions are measured from the top of the halo weft to the very ends of the hair. The length you choose refers to the full hair length before wearing and styling.
Please note that the final look may appear slightly different depending on your height, body proportions, natural hair length, and whether the hair is worn straight, wavy, or curled.
Length Reference
| Length | Approximate Look | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| 14" | Upper back / around shoulder blade area | Natural everyday volume |
| 16" | Upper to mid back | Soft natural length |
| 18" | Mid back | Popular everyday long-hair look |
| 20" | Lower mid-back | Fuller, longer style |
| 22" | Around waist level | Glamorous long length |
| 24" | Lower waist / top of hips | Extra-long styling |
| 26" | Upper hip level | Dramatic, ultra-long look |
Not Sure Which Length to Choose?
For a natural everyday look, 18"–20" is the most popular choice.
If you want a softer, more subtle result, choose 14"–16". For a longer, more glamorous look, choose 22"–26".
A Few Things to Keep in Mind
- The same length may look different on different heights.
- Wavy or curled hair can appear slightly shorter than straight hair.
- If your natural hair is very short, a longer length may require more blending and styling.
- For the most natural result, choose a length close to your current hair or one that blends smoothly with your layers.
